I'm a machine learning engineer based in Los Angeles. I mostly write about machine learning, AI, and the things I keep noticing while working in and around that world.
This is my corner of the internet. Some posts are more considered. Some are notes from the middle of figuring something out. Some are just things I wanted to pin down before they slipped away. Sometimes an interesting chat with AI ends up here too.
What I'm into
Day to day, I work in machine learning. I'm especially interested in applied AI, evaluation, agents, model behavior, and the gap between impressive demos and tools that people actually want to keep using. I also write about the internet, taste, and the occasional side thought that hangs around long enough to become a post.
